Employees of the Burger King on 781 Quintana Road received a call from someone who indicated that they were a representative from the fire department advising of an emergency, according to reports. The caller said that the business’ windows needed to be broken for ventilation, and the store’s employees allegedly complied. The Morro Bay public safety team, including both the police and fire departments, responded to the possible gas leak. Officials found extensive damage to the windows, but no gas leak, according to the news release. The case is being investigated by police, and the investigation is ongoing and no other details are available.
