Video Shows Off-duty Lansing Police Officer Pinning Down Teen, Threatening His Life
Police said an eight-year-old boy in Ohio made a McDonald's run with his little sister after he learned how to drive on YouTube. The entire route was a mile and a half. He did not hit a thing, obeyed every traffic signal, stopped for red lights, and waited until they turned green. Patrolman Jake Koehler got a call on the radio Sunday night of a kid driving a vehicle. He pulled into the town's only McDonald's and talked with the eight-year-old boy still behind the wheel. "You know, what are you doing?" Koehler asked the child. "And he said me and my sister really wanted a cheeseburger." The children got their cheeseburgers, fries, and chicken nuggets before Koehler took them to the police station and waited for their parents to pick them up. The boy may get in trouble at home, but police are not filing any charges.
